In February of 2001, a core group consisting of 13 people pulled together under the leadership of Pastor Charles E. Perry, Jr., to form Word of Restoration Christian Fellowship. On March 4, 2001, WRCF held its first worship service at Lulla Belle Goodman Elementary School located in the Arcola/Fresno/Rosharon area of Texas with over 200 people in attendance. It was the first time people were given an opportunity to become members of WRCF and it launched what has come to be the most progressive church in the Arcola-Fresno area.

WRCF has experienced perpetual growth. By September of 2001, the ministry acquired a lease facility totaling 10,000 square feet. This building housed the Sanctuary, Radical Praise House Children's Church, Chosen Generation Nursery, and the ministry's Administrative Offices. In April of 2002, WRCF acquired an additional 4,000 square feet next door to house IMPACT which is the Teen Ministry and this facility was called "The N.E.T." The N.E.T. housed an auditorium, game room, weight room and a full court basketball. Less than two years following its inception, WRCF launched its television broadcast entitled "Restoring Lives With The Word of God."

In November 2003, the ministry began what would be the beginning of unlimited and numerous outreaches in the community as it fed over 100 families during the Thanksgiving holiday. WRCF helped over 200 families with back to schoool supplies, and handed out more than 350 back packs filled with supplies.

In 2005 - less than five years after inception, WRCF acquired 44 Acres of Land and broke ground on The City of Restoration, home of the DOUBLE DOME. The City of Restoration currently houses The N.E.T. Teen Facility, the Administrative Offices and Phase I Tabernacle and Multi-Purpose Facility. WRCF currently has a membership over 1000 and is continually growing as we "Restore Lives With The Word of God."

In October 2005, we celebrated as God used us to bring 44 Acres of Land into His Kingdom, for His glory. God has blessed us with much because we have been faithful in the least. We are excited about bringing the Vision to pass WE WILL Build God a city - The City of Restoration.
